Pack 909 provides scouting activities to cub scout age boys in the Riverview, FL area. Through those activities we strive to teach boys the principles of scouting through respect for the individual and to develop and use their potential to the best of their ability. Our pack is inclusive and accepts anyone willing to do thier best!
We are a year round pack but go hiking and camping in the fall, winter and spring. We participate in activities like canoing, swimming, climbing walls, archery and BB guns. We toast marshmallows and make smores over a campfire, sing songs and play silly games. We study the natural world and the wildlife that lives in it while respecting the environment and leaving no trace when we go home. We also build robot alligators, shoot off rockets, and fly airplanes! All of this we do in the spirit of scouting.
Do our best! We stive to lead by example and have fun while learning and building character in every boy who passes through Pack 909. Our adult leaders strive to instill scouting values in the boys while ensuring each boy is meeting challenges, doing things they like to do and developing strong friendships throughout the year.
