Rocket Blast

As one of our final events of the school year, Pack 260 scouts participate in a homemade rocket blast!

The rockets are made primarily of two 2-liter soda bottles and use water and air pressure to potentially propel themselves hundreds of feet through the air.

The pack provides the pump and launch hardware; you bring your finely constructed and decorated rocket.

It is important to follow the instruction sheet linked below.  We will not launch any bottle that bypasses step 3, or tries to extend the length of the pressure vessel.  If you would like to make yours launch higher, straighter and faster,  all of the secrets are in the instructions.
