We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure; and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility.
Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. These opportunities not only help them when they are young but also carry forward into their adult lives, improving their relationships, their work lives, their family lives, and the values by which they live.
Quivira Scout Ranch offers over 3,000 acres of wilderness and a 400-acre lake. This amazing property provides swimming, boating, fishing, shooting sports, and hands-on merit badge activities.
Scouts BSA High Adventure Bases offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences where Scouts can challenge themselves. Each summer, Troop 450 embarks on an unforgettable adventure at one of these premier destinations, building skills, leadership, and lifelong memories.

The Order of the Arrow recognizes Scouts who live by the Scout Oath and Law, inspiring others to do the same. The Scouts of our troop maintain an active participation in the Order of the Arrow; electing those to join who achieve the requirements and demonstrate their commitment to the principles of Scouting.
We have a collection of tools and resources that support the functions of the troop. These provide communication and information sources to help each family get the most out of their scouting journey with Troop 450.
Meet the age requirements. Be a youth who is 11 years old, or one who has completed the fifth grade or earned the Arrow of Light Award and is at least 10 years old, but is not yet 18 years old. Complete a Scouts BSA application and health history signed by your parent or guardian.
