We welcome young people in grades K to 5 to the BSA Cub Scouts program. Cub Scouts is a 100% volunteer-run family program, with an opportunity to meet families in our area and work together as we raise our children. We follow the BSA handbooks and we ensure that our parent volunteers are fully trained in Youth Protection and their specific position.
Not every scout can attend every meeting or complete every task, but we encourage the scouts to do their personal best. As they progress each year, through the Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos handbooks, their achievements increase in complexity. The goal is to teach citizenship, personal skills, self-reliance and a sense of team as a member of the Pack. Zany games, corny jokes, high activity, and the chance to earn patches and belt loops make participation fun for the you.
