Troop 116 welcomes you!

Troop 116 has a proud history of serving Farmington, MN and the surrounding area through community activities and by teaching our scouts the values and morals they need to become outstanding citizens. We have found that a strong partnership between our scouts, parents, and adult leaders has set up our young men for success. Our fun, safe environment encourages leadership, partnership, and the development of skills that will serve our scouts and their communities for a lifetime.

We invite you to join us for friendship, fun, and adventure and to grow in the spirit of Scouting - preparedness, readiness to help others, honesty, self-confidence, and responsibility. Our Troop Meetings are usually held on Mondays at North Trail Elementary in Farmington, MN from 7:00-8:15 pm. Any questions can be emailed to: troop116farmington@gmail.com. Please watch for periodic E-Blasts that will include activity updates. Our Committee meetings are held in a virtual format (Zoom).

Boy Scouts of America

Why become a Boy Scout?

Boy Scouting is for boys who are 11 through 17 years old, or at least 10 years old and have completed the fifth grade or earned the Cub Scout Arrow of Light. Boys experience a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership. With the counsel of adult scouters, they have the potential to achieve the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. This includes camping, fun with friends, and so much more. It really is the adventure of a lifetime!

Give your son a valuable gift by encouraging him to join Boy Scouting today. The time you invest in him today will make a difference in the person he becomes tomorrow.
