Farmington Park & Pond Clean Up Day SUG

 

WHO:  All Scouts & Families

WHAT:  Farmington Pond Clean Up

WHERE:  Meet at the Farmington City Hall at 9:00 am to confirm the location of the clean-up and receive gloves, trash bags, etc. Troop 116 will clean up the ponds along the south side of 195th between Embers Ave and Deerbrook Path.

WHEN:  Saturday, May 6th 9am-11am

WHY:  To protect the natural habitat and enhance the aesthetics of our neighborhood by cleaning up garbage around ponds or parks.  Plus, it's a GREAT opportunity for CONSERVATION SERVICE hours.

HOW:  Volunteers will help clean up around a city pond.

BE PREPARED:  Scouts and adults should plan to wear appropriate boots/shoes and to dress for the weather.  The City will provide garbage bags and gloves.  

*Transportation is on your own to our clean up site.  We will gather at the Farmington City Hall at 9:00 am to confirm the location of the clean-up.
