Synchronization requires a 2-step process that we've completely automated. You'll need to provide your Scoutbook credentials with Adminstrative privileges to get started.
Let's go through those steps so that you know what's happening under the covers.
Scoutbook requires us to use their scout numbering system. Unfortunately, each scout was assigned a unique number other than their BSA ID so we need to figure out those numbers before we can send any awards. To do that we'll pull down the unit roster that Scoutbook has on file and match them up with the scouts in Scout Manager. Any missing scouts in Scout Manager will automatically be added. Scout Manager will also pull in any parent information and link them up for you.
Next, Scout Manager will send up awards for each of your scouts that we're earned during a time period that you specify. That's it.
Scout Manager does not send new scouts or update scout detailed information on Scoutbook. If you have new scouts we cannot send their awards until they're input into Scoutbook and you've synchronized them to Scout Manager.
